"Days Gone By" Native Am. Indian by Sandra Reeves Cutrer

"Days Gone By" Native American Indian oil painting on a 24"x30" stretched linen canvas.

Although this one was accidentally destroyed (long story), I thought I would share with you my lay-in and the 'almost' finished painting. After all of the work, the painting was destroyed.Accidents do happen, and people make mistakes that we must forgive them for. Thank the Lord that he is a forgiving God. I have made so many mistakes in my life, have many regrets, especially the things I have done over the years to hurt others. God loves us and forgives us, and he puts it under the blood of Jesus Chrsit, who knew no sin. When we repent, God forgives. End of story. He doesn't "bring it up" to our face like others may have the urge or tendency to do. The Apostle Paul said,"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Phil. 3:13-14).
