Curly, a young calf portrait in oils by Sandra Cutrer

"Curly" is an original oil painting worked on a small, 6" x 6" x 1.5" wrapped canvas. See my blog photos for prices if they aren't list here. All sides are painted a dark hue, so he can look great in your home or office, without a frame.

We live in southeast Texas, and are lucky to see many breeds of cattle here. Most people are attracted to what Texas is known for- the big Longhorns, which hold a special place in my heart. But, who can pass up the cuteness of this curly little fellow. He is so curious about the world around him, but knows if things get too "busy" for him, he can quickly run to his always-nearby, and ever-watchful mother!

Lion Around, a sleeping lion in oils

"Lion Around" is an 11" x 14" oil painting on canvas of a sleeping lion that I photographed on one of my many trips to The Houston Zoo in Texas. I love the big cats, and all of their moods and antics. It was great to catch this big boy, Jonathan, napping on a hot summer day. Doesn't he look to be harmless and sweet as a small kitten?Actually, I was smitten but very glad there was a thick glass between Jonathan and myself!

Please visit my web site to view all of my paintings for sell.
