A more colorful turkey...

I hope your Thanksgiving bird was juicy, your apple pie hot and crispy, and you had such a long list of things to be thankful for, you felt forced to write it on the back of a legal-size sheet of paper!

I've painted three Peacocks lately, and sold two of the three (the pics below are a few steps to my painting the third peacock in my series). I have a Facebook friend who loves to tease me when I post my work, calling them ,"colorful turkeys"! I've never had peacock meat, and I don't plan on it( yes, some people eat peacock), but I do love the taste of the real thing- you know, the one who goes,"Gobble-Gobble"!

The peacock I am posting today, a male as we all know, is the beauty of the breed.

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my work. If you would like a peacock painting, I'd love to create one especially for you! Please contact me from this blog, and if you  have the time, scroll through my already posted paintings- some are still for sell. Thanks so much!

Blessings,
