"Afternoon Delight" a duck painting by Sandra R Cutrer

"Afternoon Delight" is a small (6" x 6") oil painting on a gallery wrapped canvas, all sides painted a dark hue.
This painting was done from one of my many photos, taken at the Houston Zoo. Getting in close, I went for a shot that, once painted, would still convey the beauty of the duck's soft feathers, and its beautiful dark eye peeking out at me. I am sure it wasn't thrilled that I disturbed its delightful afternoon nap!

Thank you for reading my blog and looking at my work. For more information on this painting, or other pieces of my work, please contact me at: sandrasasart777@aol.com ( please copy and paste my email address for security) for any questions or comments. I love taking commissions. You can view this painting  on my list of works, along with the size and prices of all of my work.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26
