"Tiger in the Grass" is a palette knife painting, in oils, on a stretched 12" x 12" x 1" gallery wrapped canvas- SOLD!
I had the best time painting this piece with a thick acrylic lay-in, and then topped with high-quality oils. Don't you love his eyes! He looks to be searching for something to play with, more than something to eat. Maybe, he is looking through the grasses while trying to hide from his sibling, or his mother... we can always be hopeful that he was enjoying some "kitten-in-the-grass" time, just being younger for a little while always does a heart good!
Thank you for reading my blog and looking at my work.Although this piece is sold, I love taking commissions. Please view my other work on my blog.
