This was such fun to make,totally out of my oil-painting-box! Sometimes it just feels great to try something new and fresh,to open yourself up to new ideas. I have a couple of boxes full of things to make more collages with when I feel the urge to try something "free-spirited". Sometimes when our granddaughters come over, we go out to my studio and paint fun things.They have painted on canvases,plastic bottles,paper, and wood. I have several canvases of their hand and foot prints plastered all over large canvases when they were younger. What fun (and sadness) these paintings bring to my heart when I see how much they have grown! Try something new today, keep fun in your life,laugh much, dream, and keep hope on your daily to-do list.

Everything that I paint is priced by the hours it took to complete each piece of work, materials used, and other factors. I will be more than happy to go over any information about my work with you. Prices

in my Etsy shop should list shipping charges for the USA and Canada only. If not, please contact me for prices, or if you are in another country and would like to purchase a piece of my art.

Other sites may have a handling fee, sometimes listed under shipping because of the extra charges incurred for selling on that particular web site or gallery. Normally, all "shipping" includes USA and Canadian shipping charges, insurance to cover damages or loss, quality packing materials, and a signature confirmation- to be signed by an adult when your purchase is delivered. I do offer layaway plans for special situations, so feel free to contact me with your request. I love creating custom piece/commissions. If you'd like to view more photos-larger, or different shots of a certain work, please contact me.

About Me

As a young child, I always had a deep desire to draw and paint. All throughout elementary and high school I excelled in all of my art classes. Prompted by my high school art teacher,I attended our local Fine Arts Academy, and later college with a focus in art and art history. I have been blessed to be able to travel,visiting many art museums,including DC,NYC, and Paris,France. My work has been purchased by collectors all across the USA, and I am super pleased when my buyers tell me my work always looks better in person!

Although I refer to myself mainly as a self taught artist; over the course of many years I have taken private lessons and workshops from several talented artists in LA, TX, and AL.

I have worked with charcoal, graphite and colored pencils, pen and ink, and pastels, although preferring portrait studies in oils and acrylics. Being part Native American Indian, my heart is set on painting and learning as much as I can about these interesting people,their rich culture,and custom of using vibrant colors. I enjoy painting with heavy impasto,creating abstracts,and collages, that seem to give my paint brushes the freedom to pull me toward each new creation. My work is probably the most relaxing part of my life, and I am so glad to be back doing what I love! I believe a painting is in everything around us. We just have to look for what is truly there!
