I finished my Tiger painting several days ago, but I forgot to post it on my blog. I was so busy starting on a new painting. Some days I can't seem to find enough time to paint, take care of all of my responsibilities at home, catch up with family, friends, and have time for hubby. I don't know how I ever made it through some of the things I've been through and held a full time job in the work force several years back. Being an Interpreter for high school deaf students who were brought in from the deaf school system into the public school system, I faced a daily challenge- but rewarding one,too. I miss the students a lot. They always had something new to say to me, asking me questions all of the time, challenging me to think and learn along with them.We never made a penny from any of the art my students and I created in that school classroom back then, but we made art because we could, and because we needed to create. Painted in oils on an Ampersand art board, $325.00.
