Paris in the Rain original oil painting by Sandra Cutrer Fine Art

Sharing one of my many memories from my trip to Paris, France. I loved the hustle of the city, and especially the quick little rain showers that happened almost daily, many in the late evenings. I can recall looking out of our hotel balcony, during these quick pour-downs, watching the ladies running [home] with thier fresh baked baguettes, with a delicious scone or two. Or, maybe bags loaded up with fresh vegetables for a nice green salad.

This is painted on a 5" x 7" artist panel, added texture to the quality oil paints, ready for you to frame and hang in your favorite room or office nook. Great for small apartment spaces, or the start (or an addition) of a collage wall of original oil paintings.

Lookout Ladies! Painting a male peacock original in oils by Sandra Reeves Cutrer Fine Art

The artist doing her thing!

A close-up shot of what I've added so far.

Coming along on this. I think I will add something to make it "pop", but not sure yet what that will be!

I decided to add some gold-leaf sheets- meticulously adding tiny pieces, with special adhesive just for gold leafing, to the top of the tail area, and his lovely crown. It is completed, and no sooner did I post this one, it SOLD!

Angel with Cardinals original art in textured oils by Sandra Cutrer

This is a sample display frame, showing how even more beautiful this painting can look framed!

I am on a roll with angel paintings. They are selling quickly. I think people feel love and comfort from seeing angels in paintings. At least, it reminds me that I have loved ones that I will see one day- hopefully in the near future!

I painted this one with brilliant red cardinals. There is a saying that when a cardinal comes to visit you, it is the soul of someone you miss saying they have come to say hello, and they love you!

Original top-quality oils with added texture on an 8" x 10" flat canvas panel, ready for your favorite frame! This would make a great gift for someone who has lost a loved one, or an angel collector you might care to surprise! MaLee has the idea that we should take a lovely Caribbean trip, and "chill" for a week or two on a beautiful beach, breezes blowing, sipping on an ice cold  drink.... chasing a few seagulls.... I don't have the heart to tell her we can't be shipped in a box....

Still Life Oil Painting of flowers in an old blue Mason Jar, Ceramic bird, by Sandra Cutrer Fine Art

https://www.etsy.com/listing/523590190/bird-flowers-still-life-mason-jar?ref=shop_home_active_2

My husband and I enjoy "antique"shopping. Of course, at our age, we tend to look at most things not being antiques, but more like "vintage" items... We don't usually buy much when we go (these folks need to come by my house and buy some things from me!), but I was able to find an old blue Mason jar, with the original metal lid, and milky glass insert, at a great price while we were in a small town in Northeast Texas. I added a bunch of Hydrangeas, as well as my adorable ceramic bird (green- my favorite color). The flowers have added texture. Please click on the link next to the photo, to go directly to my Etsy Shop in order to view a couple of close-ups of this painting.

I was curious about whether a Mason jar, and a Ball jar were the same. Thanks to Wikipedia, they were made by the same company. A neat fact!
