Nebit, a Leopard Portrait in oils by Sandra R Cutrer

Nebit, a variant of the Egyptian word for leopard. A close-up and personal portrait of one of the most powerful wild cats. Leopards are loners, not belonging to a pride, pack, or family of its own kind. I think it is amazing that these cats can carry their prey- three times heavier than themselves- up a tree so others, like lions and hyenas don't steal it from them!

I love painting wild life portraits, and showing the details of each one's uniqueness. I hope you'll enjoy the extra photos- showing how I did my layers of oil paint to create Nebit!

Painted on a professional artist board, 9" x 12", ready for framing. So much detail, so realistic, this painting would look great in any room! For pricing, please scroll my blog's main page photos.
